• Full Payment is required at the time of booking an Academy course. • Cancellation Policy: once full payment has been made, it is nonrefundable. Due to this being a tailored service to each individual, even before the first session has taken place. Exceptional circumstances however will be taken into consideration and the potential for 50% refund will be available to those who qualify. • The dog training industry is an unregulated profession, as such, not all trainers will be accredited, all however will be working towards an accreditation with the APDT to ensure we are working within the Codes of Practice set out for Pet Dog Trainers. • The Pet Dog Academy cannot guarantee results in 1 course. Training is a life time investment and failure to maintain training outside of the 1-2-1 sessions will affect the overall effectiveness of the training provided. • All customers will receive their trainer’s session notes at the end of the course to keep and refer to. • The Pet Dog Academy cannot take on ADULT dogs with behavioral issues, nor can we take on dogs with aggression. We will however re-direct customers to a company that can, we will help anyone who contacts. • Customers will need to provide their own training materials such as treats etc. • The Pet Dog Academy will only use force free training methods and have the right to refuse work with anyone NOT willing to use these methods. Any signs of forceful training and punishment will be addressed with the owner and failure to adopt a force free approach will force the trainer to terminate the training contract and no refund will be given. • Owners always remain responsible for their dogs and are advised to ensure they have adequate pet or household insurance cover for liability in the unlikely event of damage or injury caused by their dog to property or a third party.  • The Pet Dog Academy cannot be held accountable for any incidents that occur causing injury to the dog or client. • The owner agrees to pay all damages to The Pet Dog Academy for any incidents hat occur involving their dog that has resulted in loss of work and injury to the trainer. • The Pet Dog Academy cannot guarantee performance results from a dog over the period of training or therefore after the contract has ended. Due to dogs’ maturity periods in their lifetime and factors such as a dog coming into season, can all affect a dog’s behavior and willingness to perform commands set out by owners and trainers.
